Merger proposal[edit]

I propose that Al-Aman Bahela Khatun Mosque be merged into Belkuchi Upazila.

All available sources about the mosque were published on the occassion of its innauguration, and all say basically the same things about it. Per WP:GNG#Notes, despite minor variations, one story does not constitute multiple works for the purpose of establishing notability, even if published by multiple newspapers. So the topic does not satisfy WP:GNG or WP:GEOFEAT, and should not be a stand alone article.

Merging to Belkuchi Upazila is an alternative to deletion that would allow the topic to be spun out again into a stand alone article if and when it has gained sufficiently significant attention by the world at large and over a period of time to demonstrate notability. --Worldbruce (talk) 00:36, 17 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Maruf Hossain, CommanderWaterford, and MB: (Original author of Al-Aman Bahela Khatun Mosque, patroller, and editor who tagged article for notability) Your input is welcome. --Worldbruce (talk) 00:45, 17 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It is a new mosque so the News of the inauguration of this mosque has been published by all the media. Although the mosque is new, it is a significant mosque in Bangladesh. I think this registration follows Wikipedia's policy. Maruf Hossain (talk) 07:59, 17 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Judging from the sources in the article, it seems like it could be notable. The article doesn't really discuss why this mosque is "significant". If the article were expanded, there would be less question of notability. MB 14:13, 17 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
