Notability[edit]

An editor has tagged this article with the "This article may not meet our notability standards..." tag. I don't agree and I'm removing the tag. The editor is invited to discuss the matter here (and restore the tag if she wants to).

I think they're pretty clearly notable because:

  1. They have like 20 stores, and they're international -- stores in the low countries, France, and Spain.
  2. And beyond that they sell their clothes in lots of other stores in Europe.
  3. And there's some sources in the article, including a couple of reasonably detailed pieces on the brand. So I think it probably meets WP:GNG on that account (not sure, but that's my guess). Herostratus (talk) 19:35, 25 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia uses an unusual, and maybe surprising, definition of notability. It regards a subject as notable if there are multiple citations of reliable independent published sources each containing significant discussion of the subject. Number of stores, etc., are irrelevant. The article now cites four references, but my French isn't good enough to judge whether they qualify. Maproom (talk) 13:24, 3 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
