Notable?[edit]

It seems like this article fails both WP:GNG and WP:BASEBALL/N. I think it should be merged to Detroit Tigers minor league players. IronGargoyle (talk) 21:41, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ref improve tag[edit]

A ref improve tag was added to the article. Every single para in the text has a ref. I can't tell what is being challenged. Can someone clarify, either here or by replacing the general tag with specific tags? Otherwise, the general tag should go. Tx. --Epeefleche (talk) 18:01, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

We're talking about this page being ref'd by B Ref Minors. That is less than ideal. I don't see why the references in the above section haven't been incorporated into this article. – Muboshgu (talk) 18:28, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ah -- now I understand. That's a good point -- I just could not divine it from the tag. (Though actually, now that I look at it, the two refs appear to me to be RS refs ... its not as though we are referencing the b-ref bio wiki ... It is not as though, as the tag suggests, "This article needs additional citations for verification [and contains] Unsourced material [which] may be challenged and removed. ... but I will see what I can do to add more RS refs.) Will try to help when I have a moment. I think the tag was not the best way to address this; a talkpage mention would have been better. And, of course, the refs used to demonstrate notability are not required to be in the article ... though it looks nice if they are. Best.--Epeefleche (talk) 18:35, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
