Dates, ages[edit]

According to the last paragraph, "In 1910 Cheney built a barn in Peterborough, New Hampshire patterned upon medieval English tithe barns." Pretty amazing for someone who died fifteen years prior. Also, the American Express article seems to make no mention of this individual.--Lordkinbote 06:21, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the following material from the article - "In 1910 Cheney built a barn in Peterborough, New Hampshire patterned upon medieval English tithe barns. It still exists (as of April 2006) but is threatened with demolition." Possibly it belongs with a different Cheney. However, most other facts in the article seem to be supported by sources. American Express[edit]

The American Express connection is confirmed in The Cyclopaedia of American Biography article on Cheney. See References. Ksnow 16:07, 18 May 2007 (UTC)Ksnow[reply]
