Jurich fight[edit]

I'm confused. If he was over the bantamweight limit, presumably he was not permitted to fight Jurich for the flyweight title. And if, somehow he did fight Jurich, and stopped him in the 12th, why did Jurich get the title. And in this case, surely Lynch's excess weight would have been an advantage, so there's no "despite" about it. Matthau (talk) 14:31, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lynch won, Jurich claimed the title due to Lynch forfeiting it, but had no valid claim. --Michig (talk) 21:36, 14 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Film?[edit]

I can't find any evidence for the existence of a 2003 film about Lynch, certainly not one involving Robert Carlyle (who is slim but would still have had to lose a hell of a lot of weight to play the part). What was it called? Was it ever released? Anyone? Matthau (talk) 14:33, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Documentary narrated by Carlyle - source now in article. --Michig (talk) 21:37, 14 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
