Assessment Logic[edit]

Category 1 station (of international importance) - one of only 20 in Germany.

Station Names[edit]

The dates given here for the various names of this station are at variance with a plaque apparently on the wall of the station itself which provides the historical station names as:

  • 1842 - 1881 Frankfurter Bahnhof
  • 1881 - 1950 Schlesischer Bahnhof
  • 1950 - 1987 Ostbahnhof
  • 1987 - 1998 Hauptbahnhof
  • 1998 Ostbahnhof

Berlin Ostbahnhof has been known by several names over its 160-year history

And Postbahnhof? It's also part of the Ostbahnhof. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.230.60.80 (talk) 03:46, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
