shripney merged here[edit]

If the whole parish only has >8,000 people, should each village get its own article? More people work at your average Wal-Mart.--Esprit15d 15:59, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

ah! but are they better off? Peter Shearan 10:55, 27 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sadly no, no they aren't :) --Esprit15d 13:25, 27 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I'll put a merge tag on Shripney (Sussex rapid response unit!) ++ MortimerCat (talk) 21:03, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal[edit]

Guidelines at Wikipedia:WikiProject UK geography/How to write about settlements state that ideally the civil parish (Bersted) should be the catch-all article, avoiding single line articles on every village and landmark within the parish.

Therefore, I suggest villages within the parish (North Bersted and Shripney) to be merged and redirected to Bersted. ++ MortimerCat (talk) 21:12, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
