Name[edit]

The name "Bert Terry" is used in The Billiard Player and 1936 press reports. Other sources have "Herbert Terry" or "Harold Terry". If this was Harold Terry, then it's not the same Harold Terry from Tonbridge who was a member of the BA&CC, won the Home Counties billiards championship, and was runner up in the English Amatuer Billiards Championship, as he was still alive in 1964.
