Notability[edit]

I've cited two independent and in-depth sources that talk primarily of BestCrypt. Is this enough to "establish notability"? There are also some sources on various conferences, comparing BestCrypt to other disk encryption solutions, such as [1] [2], and a bunch of others merely mentioning it [3] [4] [5] [6] [7], but they aren't relevant enough to add them to the article in my opinion. -- intgr 10:12, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

For what it's worth, I'm in no way related to Jetico or BestCrypt, and I do not even personally use any of their products. However, I do believe the product is notable due to its relative popularity (although I am having a hard time establishing sources for that). -- intgr 17:52, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Notable as being one of the earliest commercial OTFE systems, and for also being one of first (only?) commercial systems to support Linux. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.110.147.209 (talkcontribs)
Scramb'ler 128 for the Commodore 128 came out in 1989, among others in google groups. Family Guy Guy (talk) 02:29, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion - sources for notability[edit]

@MrOllie Sorry, back when I created this article (2006) I clearly had no clue about the notability guideline, and the article is pretty bad.

But when searching for sources now, I think there may be enough independent sources with significant coverage to barely satisfy WP:GNG:

Probably not helpful for notability:
