Re. Examples:

How is the set of all odd cycles a linear class? If I understand the Theta graph condition, cycles of even length form a linear class (since all paths in the theta graph would have equal parity), but not odd cycles?

First sentence is a tautology

Of course the third circle of a theta graph is contained in that theta graph. By defintion. I assume you mean the third circle of the theta graph is contained in the list of distinguished circles?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.171.7.39 (talk) 12:23, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
