No information on the later line - why?[edit]

I remember a line of Big Jim toys that came out in 1985 in Italy. The "good guys" (Big Jim, Doctor Alec and Astros) were part of an organization called Global Command, while the "bad guys" (Professor Obb, Vektor and Baron Fangg) were part of a criminal organization called Condor Force. I don't remember much about this line except this, and the only site I found with pictures of this "underdog" line was Italian. Why? Was it only released in Italy? ANSWER: The main Big Jim line was domestically retired in 1986 in North America. Note Mattel licensed the Big Jim Toys to several companies across the world. Some companies released their own local versions of some Big Jim action figures. Some of these figures are considered international variations, while others are considered completely different products, partially based on Big Jim.

Global Command was the last in the official Big Jim Series, but some figures were released on Europe only. Global Command was released in 1985, canceled one year later. This information it's currently being screened and will be added as soon as we can confirm all information about it. Big Jim page's contents are currently under revision. I added some infos about this series. It was distributed in most of Europe, not Italy only, it was popular in French too, indeed. It was an official Mattel product, not a licensed one. It was released from 1984 to 1986. -- Il Passeggero - I love to love you 09:10, 13 February 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by IlPasseggero (talkcontribs)

Olympics series and accessories[edit]

I seem to recall there being a series that tied into the Oympics? And a series of oversized backpacks with voiceboxes inside that when you pulled a string, uttered a series of phrases related to the theme of each backpack (Jim had a 'rescue/medic' pack, Josh had a 'mountaineering' pack).Rickremember (talk) 08:09, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Iron Jaw[edit]

I'd say the fact that Iron Jaw was never produced makes him more than rare; it makes him non-existent. Besides, he mentioned in two different places, and only in one section of the article does it mention that the character wasn't actually produced. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.199.76.177 (talk) 23:22, 21 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dr. Steel Good or Bad?[edit]

The first Dr. Steel says "Big Jim's Biggest Challenge" on the box.

The Wikipedia article says, "Most of the time, kids thought of him as being an evil villain for the first series, but it turned out he was also one of the good guys..."

Was it that kids thought Dr. Steel was evil or was he marketed as a bad guy at first before he became part of the pack? The first ones didn't have the wolf tattoo on the hand. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.52.233.194 (talk) 15:59, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
