Can somebody give a reference within a week for the following assertion that I believe to be untrue? Yes, it has a mosque near Ganzenhoef metro station, but there are other Amsterdam neighboorhoods that have much higher Muslim populations. The Muslim percentage may have increased the last 10 years.

"It has a high immigrant Muslim population."

I don't think this article should be merged into Amsterdam Zuid-Oost. The Bijlmer is known in the world of urban planning and architecture and should remain a seperate article.

Quote: "After El Al Flight 1862 crashed into two Bijlmermeer buildings [...] it was decided that the neighbourhood needed some further change".

This is hilarious. Is the fun intended? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.210.157.77 (talk) 16:51, 11 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Airplane on the map[edit]

It's not that bad, to see the airplane, but look at this picture of the crash https://enacademic.com/dic.nsf/enwiki/521953. The airplane hits the V shape. Behind the crash is the ground track of the wing moulding and all the stone and concrete rocks are on the downside. So if you would be so kindly and move the plane icon a bit to the V shape, that would indicate the castrophy more just.

construction year[edit]

it would be good to mention the year the project was started/finished somewhere in the introduction 109.81.93.83 (talk) 19:43, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
