Palladium?[edit]

Was it called the Palladium back then? I seem to recall a different name from the time....cant' remember what it was.....what was it went down in Bar None that was related to this? Somebody else got shot there....Skookum1 (talk) 13:27, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pretty sure, again, that it was Bar None - was it renamed the Palladium since maybe?Skookum1 (talk) 15:42, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Palladium used to be Graceland. it has since been demolished and replaced with condos. Bar None still exists and is located a few blocks away.Oasissux (talk) 06:06, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dossanjh brothers[edit]

Jim Dossanjh et al. were part of this story, or of Johal's story; I haven't written an article on him partly because it's not my area of interest (Vancouver gang warfare is a whole subject) but there's more research to be done here, and a wider cast of characters.....Skookum1 (talk) 13:27, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

it was the palladium where he got shot i remember. I live in van —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.80.180.15 (talk) 00:29, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bal Buttar - Tony?[edit]

I remember the name "Tony Buttar", is this the same guy? no, hes your bapu. hes the one who used to put his lun in ur fudi all the time. Also the passage about Johal killing off his associates is likely a reference to the attack on Jim Dossanjh that went down at Fraser & Kingsway (the park article at that location might have a tidbit on that event/crash/shooting but not much).Skookum1 (talk) 13:30, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

tony tera bapu haram de bacche tera lun put dena and i mean it ok. so basically you have 2 bapus and u belong to randi family

Murder[edit]

I have changed the word "assassinated" to "murdered" to describe the subject's death. Assassination should be reserved for political murders. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.87.80.148 (talk) 16:14, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Assassination is used for contemplated murder, so murder in the first degree not just for politicians. For a figure known to public, the term assassination is used, especially since bindy was pretty well known. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.227.178.4 (talk) 00:23, 13 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Copy editing and references[edit]

Hi there, I have been adding internal (Wiki) links to this article; however, it also really needs copy editing as it is rife with grammatical, spelling errors etc. It also needs reference citations; however, perhaps copy editing prior to inserting reference citations would make the copy editing process less burdensome. I will work on this process as I have time in the near future. As I don't live in Canada, please correct any mistakes I make.Jihadcola (talk) 14:16, 18 May 2012 (UTC)Jihadcola[reply]

Restored earlier version[edit]

There have been several updates to the article, but without new sources for the information. See the difference in versions here. So, I reverted it back to the last apparently stable version.--CaroleHenson (talk) 22:45, 29 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
