Well written[edit]

The article seems generally well written. There were some parts that stood out as in need of basic copyediting, which I duly did. There was also a MOS:ORDER issue with the portal bar, which I have also fixed. However, there is a MOS:FIRST issue. The sentence says "is a consequence of". It should probably describe the issue, not what causes it. That could be moved to the second sentence.

Verifiable[edit]

Sourcing seems good. It's at 14% WP:COPYVIO, so it seems unlikely to be (although there are a few phrases from sources verbatim, they're short).

Broad[edit]

The article appears to be broad in its coverage. The fork section, however, is virtually the entire content of the main article: fork (blockchain). This needs reworking - mention it as a general concept, as it is only really explanatory content.

Neutral[edit]

The article seems to be in line with WP:NPOV. There have been issues raised on the talk page about the title being a WP:NPOV, with a strong consensus to keep the title. Per discussion on the talk pages, there seems to be a lot of debate within the bitcoin community about whether to solve the issue. I am convinced (with the consensus line) that there is very little debate about whether a problem exists. As such, the title is appropriate, and the article covers different approaches to the problem.

Stable[edit]

There does not seem to be an issue with edit warring.

Illustrated[edit]

There is an image on the article, I'd say that this guideline largely doesn't apply here. However, I think it might be possible to include a pictorial representation of forking.
