Has potential to become a B class article or better ...[edit]

There appears to be a large quantity of source material about the Black Bob Band. With patience and dedication, this could be transformed into a much higher quality article ... Djembayz (talk) 06:38, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move[edit]

The following discussion is an archived discussion of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the proposal was moved, and Black Bob moved to Black Bob (comics) with no primary topic; this can be revisited later on to see if page views clear the situation up. --BDD (talk) 22:36, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Black Bob (person)Black Bob (Shawnee chief) – or Black Bob (native American). Fails WP:CRITERIA on precision, Black Bob (Scottish soldier) (just made this redirect to Robert Craufurd) was also a "person". No comment about whether Black Bob (fictional dog) really deserves WP:PRIMARYTOPIC here.... In ictu oculi (talk) 10:35, 18 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why say "no comment" when you are obviously making a comment. If you really wanted to make "no comment" it would have been more honest to omit the comment altogether. Til Eulenspiegel /talk/ 14:15, 18 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
? that's helpful. Who is User:Til Eulenspiegel ? In ictu oculi (talk) 15:57, 18 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support we should not use ambiguous disambiguation -- 70.24.249.39 (talk) 23:09, 18 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I support that other move too; this situation wasn't clear to me, and I apologize to Iio for totally failing to grasp it and misreading it above. Til Eulenspiegel /talk/ 23:49, 19 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
@Til Eulenspiegel: that's okay, I was a bit taken aback. I hadn't/didn't look at the Black Bob in Google Books because it doesn't affect this RM. The dab in Category:Fictional dogs could be (fictional dog) or Black Bob (comics) probably. In ictu oculi (talk) 11:08, 22 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(I failed to notice how you'd piped the links, so I assumed that the fictional dog already was at "Black Bob (fictional dog)", and that you were hinting that it should become the primary topic. I now see it's the other way around, apologies again for misreading it. Til Eulenspiegel /talk/ 16:15, 22 September 2013 (UTC)) [reply]
