Questions to Answer[edit]

It's a little slim right now, let's build this out more! I'd like to know the answer to these questions:

  • What were the names and address of businesses in Black Bottom?
  • What were the addresses of significant figures who lived in Black Bottom?
  • Where can we find photos of Black Bottom businesses / streets?

For what it's worth 7 years later, I don't think the answers to these questions are encyclopedic in nature. casualdejekyll (talk) 20:10, 29 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notable residents[edit]

Most of the notable residents never lived in Black Bottom, which, according to the cited source (Binelli) was "destroyed in the 1950s." They lived in Brewster-Douglass. The one exception is Joe Louis. Kendall-K1 (talk) 21:28, 6 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Of Current (Temporary) Interest[edit]

I added a temporary note on this page to alert readers that there is a photography exhibit at the Detroit Public Libary through March 15, 2019. I think people interested in this page would be interested in that information. Since it is a comment that will no longer be accurate after March 15th, I have made myself a calendar reminder to update this once the temporary exhibit is over. If anyone knows of a better way to note this in the article, please let me know. Widjididji (talk) 20:05, 15 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
