Should we cite the book in the references section?[edit]

Well, this article is about the novel, and we are using it as a source for the plot. Thus, it should be referenced.Leo628 12:42, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You can, but it isn't as necessary as normal, unless you're quoting or something. Richard001 (talk) 07:42, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Novel[edit]

I have only read this article not the book, but it seems to not be an autobiographical novel to me, so I'm not sure why the novels rather than books template is in use here. Richard001 (talk) 08:15, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

New Theme Section[edit]

There was a new theme section added by user 152.13.49.234 on 18:44, 23 April 2019‎ that I deleted as I deemed it to be problematic on the levels explained below:

First, it was entirely uncited and seemed like personal research. Second, many of the sentences were poorly written (incorrect grammar and syntax) making the claims convoluted. Third, many of the claims were biased generalizations that I deem dubious, especially given the lacking citations. Fourth, a thematic analysis does not belong in the plot summary section, rather the analysis section which can be found below.
