Improper titling[edit]

There is no "and Motorcycle Boots", just "Black Denim Trousers". Somebody, please correct the titling mistake. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.233.4.135 (talk) 04:54, 17 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What is your source for the shorter title? The Cheers' recording on Capitol, which I have in front of me, gives the title just as in the article.76.199.9.141 (talk) 00:59, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The article title is correct. As you've observed, the Cheers' original record carries the full and correct song title. Some subsequent recordings may have used the abbreviated title, but that has no significant bearing on this article. Chorus[edit]

I'm pretty sure the chorus is quoted on a track on Mick Farren's 1970 album “Mona - The Carniverous Circus” though I'm blowed if I can remember which one. Now I'll have to listen to the whole record again… Mr Larrington (talk) 19:51, 28 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Right singer, wrong album. It's (mis-)quoted on "Slum Lord", on The Deviants' 1968 Album "Disposable". Mr Larrington (talk) 21:04, 28 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
