@Wpollard: Hi, I'm curious where the Infobox Lakes is coming from in this new article as that infobox has long been merged with Infobox Body of Water. The Infobox body of water has many new field that help especially the pushpin map, etc. Are you using a script or tool to help create these? Would love to identify the source for possible update. Cheers. Wolfgang8741 says: If not you, then who? (talk) 10:05, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I have been using the Infobox Lakes template for some time. I was unaware a newer Infobox had been developed. I will start using it instead. I am certain quite a number of articles still have the old Infobox on their talk pages. I orginally grabbed the template from one. Bill Pollard (talk) 19:01, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Wpollard: Great! Yeah, I know it is easy to miss developments and changes. I've been trying to document and update WP:LAKES with those. You might find other useful updates there and more activity on the talk page. The infobox transition was a few years ago before I focused my attention to Lakes, now while we cleanup the leftover field changes where I find the old infobox being used I'm trying to make sure everyone knows of the update or fixing tools that apply the old infobox. While the old infobox is works, just the new fields may have been missed to further enhance the articles. Cheerx. Wolfgang8741 says: If not you, then who? (talk) 03:56, 9 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I just finished another short lake article with the OLD infobox! I will go back in the near future and fix this. The old one was in my sandbox. I will introduce the new one there to prevent me from doing this again. Bill Pollard (talk) 19:22, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
