Shuffles that would affect the current "Black Mariah" article[edit]

Speaking to @S: and @Favre1fan93:

I plan to take the article name "Black Mariah" and make it a redirect to "Black Maria", which is currently a disambiguation page for the varied uses of the term. The contents of this article would appear under the article name "Black Mariah (comics)" or some such, and as a link on that disambiguation page.

I see that this article was created recently, on January 22, and that you two are so far the only contributors. My attention to the issue of Maria/Mariah is an unrelated coincidence, which is how I stumbled upon this article. I didn't want to go ahead with a potential disruption without consulting you first. "Black Mariah (comics)" works just as fine. Thanks for the heads up. -- S talk/contribs 05:16, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Agree that "Black Mariah (comics)" is fine if you're moving. If you are doing moves, make sure you then adjust any articles linking here so we are all fine and dandy. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 19:16, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I used the "What links here" tool, and it returned over forty articles. Gah! I was confused, since the first three random articles I checked did not contain "Black Mariah" in the text, or in the raw wikitext. A reference to User talk:108.209.202.43 showed a post from December 2013, which led me to think that most if not all of the found articles used to have links to some previous incarnation of an article called "Black Mariah". Most of the articles seem related to comics. Any thoughts on proceeding? With the current article being so new, it's tempting to assume that none of the found articles have links to this version which need updating. Willondon (talk) 20:36, 15 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Another clue from July 2014 at User_talk:Accurizer#Proposed_deletion_of_Black_Mariah, regarding an article about an allegedly non-notable band. Willondon (talk) 20:51, 15 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I see that Template:Luke Cage does include the text, which is probably why most of the other articles are getting returned as a match. Still learning about all this... Willondon (talk) 01:14, 16 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Let me know if I screwed something up. Cheers. Willondon (talk) 07:59, 17 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
