Offline sources need[edit]

I'm having trouble finding online sources regarding the history and fate of the community. Images show mills circa 1910 and what look like company housing circa 1960 (if the date is accurate). Books on Polk County history may yield more. ~~I haven't checked any newspaper archives~~ yet (S-J, Polk County I-O, etc.) Perhaps there's masters' thesis potential here somewhere...
