Proposed "Acts" section for article[edit]

This article could be improved with a properly developed "Acts" section (that could briefly highlight the top black vaudeville acts and perhaps provide an appropriately bulleted list of others deserving mention (with links to existing articles as appropriate)).

Toward that end two completely random female acts - with each having their own article at WP, and each having been given separate 1st-level headings and paragraph-long descriptions - were excised, so that interested editors may start from scratch. First establishing which acts warrant highlighting at this article, then listing them more concisely than had been done in the excised content. This will allow a consensus to congeal around the most eminent acts, and, if necessary, and the number is too great to include in a relatively short bulleted list here, a separate "List of black vaudeville acts" article being created. 2601:196:180:8D80:C0E6:E7DB:D280:8EDF (talk) 21:26, 10 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
