I think the article is well-written and the sources seem to provide adequate information. It would be interesting to learn about the black mongoose's mating habits so it's a shame that there doesn't seem to be information out there. The tone sounded informative without having any bias. There are a few sentences that don't have citations at the end. I don't know if that is an issue for Wikipedia since the training suggested having every piece of information cited. The information provided is concise, an credible from the sources provided which include online journal articles and scientific findings. There is no bias within the context which makes it a good article for Wikipedia in that the writing is informative and not persuasive or otherwise improper for Wikipedia's rules. The only thing I can add is that the information seems to be short. Although the article was originally a stub which was added onto, it seems that there could be more information within each category. An example would be under the heading Description and Behavior, other characteristics could be added such as reproduction, mating patterns and season, differences in male and female, etc. The same could be done under range and habitat such as predation and how they avoid predators, and so on. More information could have been added overall such as conservation efforts, biology of the mongoose, etc. Overall, the article is well written and it can be understood that information may have been limited on this species. The size listed is way off. It's supposed to be longer than the slender mongoose, not shorter than a dwarf mongoose. Unfortunately every online source I've found has an even more ridiculous size given. One paper said 800cm. As in 8 meters. What? I think the papers on this guy have a reoccurring translation issue.
