Expansion[edit]

Help is needed to expand this article. Is there anyone in the Blackpool area prepared to research the old newspapers and expand the article? Mjroots (talk) 07:27, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comic monlogues[edit]

There is a reference to this topic in Albert and the Lion, where Mr and Mrs Ramsbottom took young Albert their son...with his stick with its horseheadhandle... they went to the pier... There was no shipwrecks and nobody drownding(sic), in fact nothing to laugh at at-all... so they went to the Zoo and hence the encounter with Horace... I can't find the song lyrics or remember more, I had not realised that this was a poke at the dangerous nature of the coast and the ghoulish nature of the holiday makers. There is a link to the above here, http://monologues.co.uk/Albert_and_the_Lion.htm which could be used as a source if it is appropriate to add it to the article?♦Tangerines♦·Talk 14:40, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That would only really be useable in a trivia section, which I am loathe to add. Nice little diversion though! Mjroots (talk) 13:10, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
