Game Info Updated[edit]

I did some updating on the main page of bleach:the blade of fate because it was lacking info on the game itself.

Saving?[edit]

How do you save in this game? I think it might be important to those who can't read japanese.

This is not a guide. --Zeno McDohl (talk) 01:03, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

GameFAQs, however, is. Check there. --tjstrf 01:07, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Chances of US release[edit]

What are the chances of a US releaseKotenks 17:17, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pretty good, I assume. Once Bleach airs in the US that is, and it reaches past the SS arc. --Zeno McDohl (talk) 21:33, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That'll be, what, 2 years? Well, here's hoping for a US or English-only server so that I can play against people who haven't had 3 years more practice than me. --tjstrf 21:37, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It will probably be US servers, since playing Japanese people from the US (what I do) has a ton of lag. I don't see why you can't just buy the Japanese version. --Zeno McDohl (talk) 22:54, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Lack of Japanese reading capability, and the afore-mentioned lag. --tjstrf 22:59, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Most menus are in English, and there is no lag if you play players in your country. --Zeno McDohl (talk) 00:25, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I was unaware of that. The screens I saw looked rather japanese heavy to me. Also, I distrust some of the import companies. Plus, I'd probably just skip Bleach DS 1 and go straight for Bleach DS 2 if I did import. --tjstrf 00:36, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's very Japanese-heavy, although the main menu is mostly in katakana. I don't know what he was referring to. Anyway, this article needs a cleanup. For one thing, it's not just based on the manga because Kuukaku has her arm. Dekimasu 10:03, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Only story mode really needs prior knowledge of japanese. The main menu has an announcer that speaks english (the exception being "Urahara Shoten"). (message left by Malomeat)
But you won't know what any of the cards do (except for whether they are targetting you or your enemies), so you can't effectively build a deck or buy things from the Urahara Shop. Also, the default menu voice is Ichigo's seiyu and says the menu items based on the katakana names, but if the menu voice is set to another character (e.g. Gin speaking Kansai-ben) you may or may not be able to understand it. Dekimasu 03:05, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's simple, use the cards, find what they do, and remember the face on the card. This game is very import friendly, as are a lot of Bleach games. --Zeno McDohl (talk) 03:10, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well now this is all pointless because it's now released in America, to the benefit of many, even though no one cares *groan* 66.193.64.161 (Left by Ekkusu, too lazy to log in.) —Preceding comment was added at 17:22, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
