Xbox 360 controller

Does the Xbox 360 wireless controller use bluetooth? Some would dispute and say they don't. Well if they're not bluetooth, what are they? I mean they certainly aren't infrared which is another type wireless technology.

The difference between bluetooth and infrared is that bluetooth uses energy waves instead of a laser. That way direction is no longer a concern, and functionality is only a matter of distance. And because the Xbox 360 controller doesn't use a laser, it has to be bluetooth. 173.55.37.52 (talk) 03:39, 18 May 2016 (UTC)

Xbox 360 controller does not use bluetooth

It uses a Microsoft's proprietary protocol, in the same spectral range of 2.4 GHz as Bluetooth and many other radiofrequency applications, such as cordless phones. It is not, however, bluetooth, which comprises much more than the simple frequency of radio waves. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.35.197.61 (talk) 19:02, 28 June 2016 (UTC)

Rajeshui spam?

I know nothing about Bluetooth, but the link to rajeshui.com in the info box looks like spam (or graffiti?) to me. It's not mentioned in the main article, and appears to be an individual's website. Espensj (talk) 08:21, 5 July 2016 (UTC)

Yes, it definitely does not belong here. Thanks for spotting it, I removed it. Feel free to remove it yourself in the future. Sebastian (talk) 08:54, 5 July 2016 (UTC)

HISTORY?

Well, fuck you, WP editors. Sincerely, jae (talk) 21:14, 27 October 2016 (UTC)

(Yes, a "History" would so lend itself to a tabular timeline, and we know "WP" hates those. Better hide all the actual dates in "prose"... so much more "encyclopaedic", and so much more useless... signed by see above)
