Bob Hesford was also a school teacher who went to Northern Rhodesia, (now Zambia),after his playing career in the UK. I can't recall the accademic subject he taught, but he was the sports master for the "Luanshya Government School" football team, where he coached me, early 1950's. I will always remember him by his walk, caused by broken ankles, whilst playing for Huddersfield Town.
