Tri-Rail Station

The Boca Raton Station is too insignificant to have its own article. -- Dalbury(Talk) 11:09, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

Path of Turnpike

The Florida Turnpike passes through unincorporated suburbs west of the City of Boca Raton. The Geography and Demographics sections apply only to the incorporated city. It is not correct to state that the turnpike passes through the city proper. There is a difference between "city" and "urbanized area". -- Dalbury(Talk) 22:55, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

Replies to both comments.

The station is brand new and is a prototype to others being built. I find that significant...

This page is for the entire city (incorparated and unincorparated), the Turnpike is in the city, but not in the limits. BTW, I live in the unincorparated section so stop making it sound as if it is under a microscope, it's insulting.

P.S: Why don't you help with the West Palm Beach, Florida page? It's flagged and needs pictures of the skyline and Cityplace?

I thought all of the Tri-Rail stations were being built to the same plan (most of them are finished), and have heard nothing about any one of them being the 'prototype'. In any case, I see no need for an article about a commuter train waiting platform. I think it is highly misleading to state that the Turnpike goes through the middle of Boca Raton. I am well aware of the old dispute about whether the areas west of the city limits really are part of Boca, and I normally don't give a fig one way or the other, as I live in Delray, but I just can't accept that the area around the Turnpike is the 'center' of Boca Raton. As for other articles to work on, I currently have about 70 items on my list of articles to start, and a similar number of existing articles to work on. -- Dalbury(Talk) 23:51, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

The station is different in parts from the Boynton and Delray ones. Hmm, there is are neighborhoods in the unincorparated parts of Boca Raton that have the word "BOCA" in it. Gee...

I've added an explanation about the unincorporated parts of the city. Durova 18:23, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

Can someone pictofy the image in this URL?

In the description, type "Skyline of downtown Boca Raton in the late nighties. The white building to the right is the Bank of America Building (Nations Bank back then) and left of it is the Merril Lynch Building. Beyond them is Mizner Park.

Ok, nevermind, I got her up and ready for viewing :)

West Palm Beach Page Project

I'm thinking of redoing the West Palm Beach, Florida page in the same layout of this one. The article is currently tagged. Before I do, I need to know, how do I put in pictures?

Why the cleanup notice? SWATJester Ready Aim Fire! 00:23, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

I don't know, but I reverted it back onto the page when an anon removed it on his first edit. I don't consider an anon with no prior edits qualified to make that decision. If an established editor wants to remove it, I won't object. -- Donald Albury (Dalbury)(Talk) 01:32, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
