Untitled[edit]

I removed the reference to "black projects" from the Phantom Works description. Although there may be black projects underway within Phantom Works, that is not the sole (or even the primary) function of the group. andersonpd 21:45, 27 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Missouri?[edit]

We need to stamp out this inclination that people have to put their project template all over pages that have very little related content. —Joseph/N328KF (Talk) 01:18, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Boeing-Logo.svg[edit]

Image:Boeing-Logo.svg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Brimstone a Boeing product[edit]

Either the brimstone entry is wrong, or this one. "The missile airframe is developed from Boeing's AGM-114 Hellfire, but Brimstone is an all new design with its own motor, warhead and seeker". Does this make it a Boeing product? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Supersymetrie (talkcontribs) 12:16, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Template?[edit]

I think this article needs a unified template similar to this one for civilian airliners. Maybe someone would do it for us all? It would dramatically improve navigation throughout Boeing military aircraft articles. Le Grand Bleu (talk) 06:54, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

See Template:Boeing military aircraft, which should have been in the article already. I've added it to the article, along with the company website. Thanks for catching that it was missing/needed. - BilCat (talk) 13:21, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Business unit?[edit]

Does it really need to specify that? I honestly thought I was on the simple English wikipedia for a second, I think division is understandable Aquaticsans (talk) 03:02, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Divisions of Boeing have been called Business Units by the company in the past. But no this is not needed in the first sentence of the Lead like it is now. I'll remove that. -Fnlayson (talk) 03:29, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
