Bolting (horse)Bolting (equine) – As the article's first sentence says, this topic applies to all equidae, not just horses (i.e., it includes donkeys). The format "Foo (horse)" is also almost exclusively used for individual horses, e.g. notable racehorses, and there are a large number of such articles, which may lead readers familiar with the topic area here to assume "Bolting (horse)" refers to a specific horse's name. (Technical note: It shouldn't be "(equid)" because that's not a common word, and all equids are equines and vice versa; they're monophyletic taxa, containing only the [extant] genus Equus. The normal English word for "members of the equidae" is "equines"; cf. WP:WikiProject Equine itself, for example.)  — SMcCandlish ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ʌ≼  20:42, 1 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Suggest Bolting (equine behaviour), GregKaye 13:31, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak support: but let's keep it simple, we don't need "equine behavior" - "equine" meets WP:DAB adequately. ("... choose whichever is simpler. For example, use "(mythology)" rather than "(mythological figure)".) Montanabw(talk) 10:09, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support move as proposed to bolting (equine), well presented case and I see no reason to tamper with the proposal. Andrewa (talk) 05:33, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
