LITTLE OF BONNY ISLAND HISTORY BY JANE POLLYN[edit]

I heared as a child that there was a certain time that Bonny had a problem with its River.

HOW TRUE IS IT? So true, the people of ancient Bonny Kingdom could not even travel on the sea anymore due to fear of dying and that caused for alarm.

The rulers made inquiries and found out the only solution and the solution was to kill innocent blood of two people to save the Island.

The two princesses of Bonny Kingdom willingly agreed to go for the sacrifice.

And the sacrifice started, during the sacrifice they realized that the princesses were virgins. "Very extraordinary" so the sea accepted their blood and its anger was appeased.

And from that day people were able to travel to and fro: And from that day the sea was calm.
