Septuagint is pre-Christian[edit]

The Book of Odes is found in Orthodox Bibles, but is not in the Septuagint, since that is pre-Christian, and the Odes contain Christian hymns from the New Testament. And refering to "the Septuagint manuscript" is misleading. I need to do a little checking up before I want to change anything. Anybody else want to change it before I get back, feel free to do so. --Sean Lotz 00:22, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Odes (΄Ωδαὶ) is found in Alfred Rahlfs Septuagint, section 2, page 164, after Psalms.64.149.82.79 21:13, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What about other forms of Odes e.g. Syriac Odes, Slavonic Odes, Greek Odes? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.206.229.202 (talk) 02:06, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
