Mayweather Jr. vs. Pacquiao[edit]

I recently had a look at the coverage of the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao fight on both the Floyd Mayweather Jr. page and this page, and I couldn't help but notice that both pages cover the event very differently. I am not saying either page is wrong or should be fixed, but perhaps some neutral/uninvolved experts on the subject could have a look and try to edit these two sections so that the Wikipedia descriptions of the same event on different pages do not contradict one another? It seems to me that the coverage on the Mayweather page is clearly favourable to Mayweather, and this page is favourable to Pacquiao. I neither know enough about the fight or the editing conventions for this kind of stuff on Wikipedia to know what to do, but I will write this here and a similar message on the Mayweather page and hopefully the Wikipedia community will be able to sort it out. Role[edit]

Someone reverted my edit of "roll" to "role" - though "role" is the grammatically word in context. Will people please not be so hair-trigger about reverting good-faith (and correct) copyediting? No one owns Wikipedia articles, and a later editor might well pick up a mistake of spelling, grammar, etc., that you missed. This kind of thing happens all the time on Wikipedia, and it slows down the process of polishing and improving articles. Metamagician3000 (talk) 23:19, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You would be referring to this edit, and you have my apologies. That was me using the "Restore this version" option, which undid some vandalism from that time period, but also reverted your copyedit in the process. I'll try to be more observant next time. too long[edit]

I know his super fans think every single detail is important, but this page is crazily long and really boring — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:C7F:18AE:4900:DCFC:FFC6:3261:DEFC (talk) 09:12, 6 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
