Separate pages for each member?[edit]

Shouldn't this have pages of Shim Hyunseong, Kim Donghyun, No Minwoo, Jo Youngmin, Jo Kwangmin, and Lee Jeongmin as well? 99.47.11.124 (talk) 04:07, 19 November 2011 (UTC) One-Winged Demon[reply]

I don't think that any of the members warrant for a separate page yet since none of them have done much solo work. I know a couple have taken a few acting roles prior to joining Boyfriend but that isn't enough information to split it off into separate pages. I guess we will have to wait until they start more solo activities. EternalMeisterTALK 14:11, 26 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protect[edit]

The page has been subject to numerous edit wars and quite frankly, I think it's getting out of hand. Edits constantly have to be reverted and I think that this page should be semi-protected to prevent this issue from carrying on since it has been unregistered users that have been changing the page most frequently. File:Boyfriend band .jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion[edit]

An image used in this article, File:Boyfriend band .jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

To take part in any discussion, or to review a more detailed deletion rationale please visit the relevant image page (File:Boyfriend band .jpg)

Removal of some awards[edit]

Based on previous consensus, I have removed non-notable awards such as those from Soompi and fan-made sources. Shinyang-i (talk) 06:38, 19 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge with Boyfriend (Boyfriend song)[edit]

This article has almost no content, and everything present will easily fit into the main Boyfriend (band) article. Per WP:SONGS, most songs don't merit separate articles; articles should be created only if there is significant amount of non-trivial info from reliable secondary sources that can fill a good-length article (excluding tables, lists, etc). Since this article has zero sources, that clearly isn't the case. Shinyang-i (talk) 08:15, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge with Don't Touch My Girl[edit]

This article has very little information, and per WP:SONGS, a song should only have a standalone article if there is a significant amount of information to include from reliable secondary sources. This article has zero sources of any kind, thus it does not appear to meet song notability requirements. All info would fit easily in the main Boyfriend (band) article. Shinyang-i (talk) 08:19, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This very short article is not needed, as WP:SONGS states that few songs merit their own articles and most should be merged to a larger work like an album or artist article. Since this article has no sources, it clearly fails WP:NSONG, which requires significant discussion of the song (as a song) in reliable secondary sources.
