Not really a novel...[edit]

I cleaned up just a few of the category listings, as Bracebridge is not really a novel per se, but rather a series of short stories hung together on a 'framing device' in which friends and family of the Bracebridge's gather for a wedding, and trade short stories -- a device somewhat similar to Canterbury Tales.--Federalistpapers (talk) 14:34, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

US Publisher[edit]

I know there's a bit of discussion about the US publishing house. I'll work to include a bit of that in here, at some point, perhaps in a discussion of Irving's efforts to locate UK and US publishers.--Federalistpapers (talk) 16:17, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
