Vidya=Science, The use of the word Knowledge is an inaccurate translation and common mistake[edit]

"Science" is only one of many meanings of the "vidya" root, and the major commonality of them is more about knowledge than about "science". You'll need a specific ref that actually makes this full claim you are making, not your own attempt at derivation from choosing among the parts. DMacks (talk) 13:12, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
