2004 Honda Civic brake pad wear citation??

There is no citation for the claim that "the 2004 Honda Civic, use a plate that has been tuned specifically to sound like fingernails on a chalkboard". Neither links for the mechanical section of the article have any reference to this fact, and I can't find it online.
