"Trying to sing with an agent" is not a reason for inclusion in Wikipedia. It’s paywalled so I didn’t see much either but the photo caption says “Author and former inmate Brandon Stickney holds his old prison ID card.”

Mr. Stickney’s prison time is a central part of his story - he wrote a book about it.

Thanks, A. B. -- I didn't even get that, just the title. Suggest if you want to restore, you add in the source inline immediately after the fragment. (As an admin advocating for keeping a biographical article where I'd agree the subject is of borderline notability, I am aware that the AfD discussion draws attention within the community and also in the wider world, so best to make sure the article isn't harmful, even if it's a bit over the top.)
