The fate of Adolf Hitler's birthplace[edit]
It seems (2016) that the Interior Ministry of the Austrian government attempts to erase the historical site of Adolf Hitler's birthplace in Braunau Am Inn, according to several media (external links):

Nov 2019 Update[edit]
It appears there are plans to convert the house into a police station.

June 2020 Update[edit]
There are plans to completely redesign the building
and there are plans by the ministry of interior to remove the memorial stone against Fascism, which is currently standing in Front of the building, and put it somewhere else. Those plans are being critizised by Commemorative Associations.
