ER rating[edit]

I live in brazil, and I never saw any film in the ER rating, and I didn't see any referance to this on the rating site. I'll change this — Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.106.42.102 (talk) 10:58, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Name changing[edit]

As I, myself, changed the original name on the Portuguese Wikipedia, I decided that it was just right to mirror this change on the English Wikipedia. The reason for the change of the original name (Department of Justice, Rating, Titles and Qualification) is more specified in the Portuguese Wikipedia talk page, but, in general, it was due to the fact that the said Departament is responsible not only for rating works in Brasil, but it has also other duties. It would be unfair to name a complete article about rating to it.

The term I picked, "Advisory Rating", is the best translation I found to "Classificação Indicativa", which, as I saw, is an exclusive Portuguese term used in Brasil. No other rating body in the world use this term. It's also completely clear in the beginning of the article the bodys that are responsible for rating in Brazil.
