No substantiation of the "smallpox" claim for Queen Victoria's gifts of blankets[edit]

While there is documentary evidence of British troops deliberately giving native people blankets with smallpox in order to reduce the population in the mid-1700s, there is no evidence that Queen Victoria did the same thing when she gifted people with blankets out of gratitude.

Furthermore, the link cited is nonexistent, if it ever existed. ZoneAlarm5 (talk) 12:17, 25 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
