To be frank, this article is a bundle of BLP violations. Much of the Early Life section is unsourced or poorly sourced to primary sources, public records, opinion pieces, and reliable sources that don't mention Jones at all. There's all sorts of synthesis, analysis of multiple sources that don't make the claim we're using them for. It's not our job as editors to do analysis and most of this needs to go. We should be relying on reliable, secondary sources, like non-opinion news articles, to support this content—whether positive or negative, but particularly for negative or controversial claims. I'll try to find time to dig in soon. Woodroar (talk) 21:50, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Aaand never mind, I see that AndyTheGrump got to it while I was writing that. Woodroar (talk) 21:51, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There is also a thread on WP:BLPN. [1]User:Taborhistorian, who seems to be responsible for the most recent problematic stuff, is unlikely to get away with any more of this nonsense without being sanctioned. AndyTheGrump (talk) 21:57, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
