Details[edit]

Can ANYONE find any info on this man? He's been a main character in two of Englands most popular sitcoms, and yet the only fresh info I could find was his DOB, and even that's in dispute!--Crestville 9 July 2005 19:20 (UTC)

Given Bill Owens death, it seems to me that the statement that the chances of the "original trio" getting back together is "Slim to nil" is HIGHLY optomistic!!! --(posted by User:80.177.152.156 on 31 October 2005)

Actually it says "slimmed to nil", which is correct but easily mistaken as you have pointed out. I've taken a stab at rewording that part. --Mrwojo 05:42, 4 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Picture[edit]

there is a picture on the "Mr barrowclough" pge which would do equally well here--92.10.164.151 (talk) 22:44, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It would not do as well, sorry. It is a fair-use image illustrating "Mr Barrowclough" and according to fair use policy, cannot be used to illustrate "Brian Wilde". We need a free image of Brian Wilde. --Rodhullandemu (Talk) 23:11, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
no progress yet. This is one of the worst things about wikipedia - never any images. Even though the rest of the Internet is covered in them. I think wikipedia is too coy about copyright. If it's splurged all over the web it's free to use IMO. Robotics1 (talk) 12:31, 23 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Tribute[edit]

Is not the "Tribute" section nothing more than a blatant piece of advertising? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bob.williams (talkcontribs) 13:58, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
