Hoping to help with this article[edit]

Hi I'm Devin, and I work for Bridger Aerospace. As a company, we've tried to get involved on Wikipedia in the past and not known the appropriate way to do it, but I've recently been learning about the site's rules for conflict of interest, as well as getting a better understanding of what is allowed or not allowed for company Wikipedia pages. After this page was created User:MrsSnoozyTurtle added the tags on the page and I've been looking into how to make the page better to address them.

Because I shouldn't just edit the page, I've had help to make a draft that shows some changes to address the tags:

  1. There are some additional sources that are more "in-depth"
  2. I cut out much of the coverage that mentions us in passing or as part of an event.
  3. The draft fixes some information that is no longer accurate, specifically the fleet list and makes that table less giant and similar to other aerospace company articles
  4. It better explains why the company is "notable", as a pioneer in using UAS for wildfires
  5. It adds more substantive details about the history and operations of the company

My draft is here: User:Mountainwilds/Bridger Draft

As you added the tags, User:MrsSnoozyTurtle, would you be interested to check out the draft? Or should I look for other editors who are interested and familiar with aerospace companies? Really appreciate any feedback here! Thanks! Devin Johnson101 (talk) 15:50, 10 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi Devin. Thank you for your diligence in following the COI guidelines, it is great to see someone making the effort to do the right thing.

The draft you have prepared looks like a great improvement over the current version, and I would be pleased to post it on your behalf. I will now look up the guidelines for how to accept your changes and add them to the article (although no matter how hard I try, I'm sure someone will be along soon to tell me I did it the wrong way!). Thanks again. Regards, MrsSnoozyTurtle 09:15, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
