"In 1823 Singapore was removed from the control of Bencoolen. It was ceded to the Netherlands in the Anglo-Dutch Treaty of 1824." 'It' appears to refer to Singapore, but surely it's meant to refer to Bencoolen, right? The Seventh Taylor (talk) 23:45, 1 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
