Bias[edit]

This article reads like it was written by a Brocade marketing rep. Perhaps an edit with the snippy comments about competitors removed would be a good idea.

Not sure what is "snippy" but the peacock marketing puffery can be removed. I can do one quick attempt. For that matter, it talks about "director" but never defines that. I think it just means "expensive switch", as opposed to, say, a Director. W Nowicki (talk) 21:35, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I certainly agree, the same phrase "Federal, enterprise and campus" with the same capitalization is used many times. It also reads in parts like a statement of facts that could be presented a lot more cleanly. 118.143.86.34 (talk) 16:43, 23 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • FYI. The article was largely created by a user from IP address 66.142.175.84 - the only identification the lookup tool seems able to make is that the IP address itself falls under the domain of Southwestern Bell... It is unable to provide a place location....But this article are the only edits this address has made on Wikipedia. Others that solely contribute significant entries to this article, so are probably affiliated with Brocade Communications are Users: Mike sf80 and Xattila. There may be others as well... This article itself acts as a advertisement, especially with this "As of March 2009, Brocade had sold over 10 million SAN switch ports with over 44,000 directors installed, and held 75.5% of the overall SAN switch market (Dell'Oro Group, 1Q09 SAN Report)" What do yall think?, I tried to find some proof but came up empty handed, but I also do not know of resources to use. I vote it for deletion. Sheabutter98 (talk) 05:28, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Foundry Products[edit]

It would be nice if products from the Foundry acquisition were mentioned in the products table. Kevink707 (talk) 21:56, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
