Reliability of sources[edit]

User Nikkimaria (active in Christianity and abuse-connected topics - but let's not hold that against them) deleted all material with passing reference to Daily Mail (now restored). Yes, Wikipedia recommends not using DM when other sources are available. DM reporting on this can be supplemented or eventually replaced by media considered more reliable overall (such as Toronto Sun), but until someone finds time to do that, the material backed in part or in full by DM references should stay (as per Wikipedia's own policy). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.165.4.36 (talk) 02:40, 25 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That is not an accurate description. Deprecated sources can be used in a limited manner for a discussion of the source itself, for example to explain the source's own viewpoint. Otherwise citing such sources is generally prohibited - especially but not only when better sources are available. If as you claim the information you want to add is supportable by other sources, I would suggest citing those instead rather than continuing to restore DM. How about this source?
