Bully - Scholarship Edition

Looks like the game is gonna be remade for the X-Box 360 and with more content. Maybe someone can add some information about this. But its confirmed and here is the link. http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/19/bully-scholarship-edition-coming-to-xbox-360-and-wii/ Dan the man1983 23:11, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

scholarship edition

is it a sequel or is it the same game with new content63.166.254.137 02:07, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

If you look at one of the comments posted above, you'll find that your question has been answered before you even asked it. -- SilentAria talk 03:51, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Bully Scholarship Edition

I think Scholardship Edition should get its own heading what do you think? HiTmaN GaMeR 19:42, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

I was thinking the same thing but I think we should wait a little bit longer until Rockstar releases some more info on the game that way it will look like a complete section of the article instead of just being two or three sentences, but as soon as we get a little more info it defiently deserves it's own heading. SOADLuver 00:16, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

I just got the scoop from GameFAQs.It seems they will remove the homosexuality from the game, one new mission and perhaps some new characters.Paul 1953 (talk) 07:24, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

I just read the forum post on GameFaq's you received this info from. Just ignore this information at this time. The poster is known for posting false information. SOADLuver (talk) 03:48, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
I have placed all Bully: Scholarship Edition content into a separate section within the article. I didn't feel that the game was notable enough for its own article considering the similarities that the new version evidently shares with the orignial PS2 version. Feel free to expand as soon as new information is available. Sillygostly (talk) 08:17, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Incidentally, I work for Coles Group in Australia and we received a recall notice for all copies of Bully: Scholarship Edition on both XBox 360 and Wii. No reason was given for our recall, just a notice to send all copies back to the distributor. We haven't had it on shelves for about a month. I can try and get a copy of the recall notice to add content to the site, but it doesn't state a reason. Will keep my ears open and see if I can find out more. I kind of agree with the OP, it would make almost as much sense as Phil Collins' 12"ers getting a seperate article from No Jacket Required. --Terminator14 (talk) 12:12, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

VG Assessment

This is in regards to the request at the VG Assessment page. I'm rating this article as B-class, Low-importance. Here are a few tips to improve it!

Overall, this is a really good article. Points to consider are: There's a rather informal tone that pops up from time to time, especially in the Gameplay section. Additionally, the reception section needs expansion. There are a couple of references that are formatted incorrectly as well, the ones that have the authors linked erroneously. Continue to improve this article and send it to GAC! --PresN 06:01, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Bully 2

Any one confirm this or is it fake? If so someone remove the section on the page —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ajsib (talkcontribs) 17:55, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

There isn't any news on "bully 2". You may have gotten confused as bully is going to be rereleased on the XBox 360 and Nintendo wii. The new version will have added content.

Page FUBAR

I just made a couple grammatical edits, and when I saved the infobox went FUBAR and the intro portion of the page disappeared. Help! 209.94.128.87 18:48, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Page protection

I think we should have an admin add protection. The article seems to be getting a lot of vandalism and unconfirmed information lately. Gamerzworld 01:34, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Artwork Jimmy Hopkins.png

Image:Artwork Jimmy Hopkins.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Online?

On the boxart it says Xbox live, I'm starting to question it. Any word on that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.167.42.125 (talk) 18:36, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Dog eat dog

Technically speaking, canis canem edit translates as "(a/the) dog eats (a/the) dog". I can understand the reference to the idiom as found in English, still, even though not being word for word equivalent. --87.205.202.5 (talk) 10:50, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Hot coffee mod by rockstar? I think not!

This particular line in the Article is incorrect

" Criticisms are due to the adult nature of previous Rockstar games, in particular, the Hot Coffee mod in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" This implies that Rockstar games released the mod, when in fact the feature was removed from the game (though the code remained). The mod was put together by a coder completely unassociated with rockstar games, and to say that rockstar released this mod puts them in a bad light before the reader goes on to read about the actual controversies. Basically I'm removing the hot coffee part because it is untrue, if anyone would like to discuss why such a mis-statement should remain in the article, discuss here. Paul5121 (talk) 18:42, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

I've modified the statement. They did program the minigame, it was the mod that revealed it. xenocidic (talk) 19:42, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
I understand that they programed it. And thanks your way looks a lot better. Didn't think anyone would respond. Thanks again Paul5121 (talk) 20:00, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Banned in Brazil

I read an article saying the Scholarship Edition was banned in Brazil because of it taking place in a school setting. As far as it being mentioned in the article, I could go either way. I figured I'd mention it here first. http://money.cnn.com/news/newsfeeds/articles/apwire/778d1358abc67ae0e3963464a52038cd.htm —Preceding unsigned comment added by CardinalFangZERO (talkcontribs) 04:51, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
