Merger proposal[edit]

There is a proposal to merge the Ahmedpur Katwa Railway with Burdwan Katwa Railway. I oppose the proposal. These are two distinct lines meeting at Katwa. Moreover, while Burdwan Katwa Railway is being converted to broad gauge, it is not so with the other one. - Chandan Guha (talk) 13:00, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
