Burn rate over 347 m/s does not imply detonation[edit]
The article stated that a sample burning at over 247 m/s detonates, which is wrong. A substance detonates if the reaction is driven by a supersonic shock front. The velocity of detonation is not related to the speed of sound in air, but to the speed of sound in the detonating substance. 83.254.151.5 (talk) 16:26, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
